Needle In Paradise is a 16″ x 20″ x ¾” acrylic painting on a standard depth stretched canvas. It is a painting of the Iao Needle in the Iao Valley State Park on Maui inspired by lush greenery and colorful native flowers. The source was a photograph I took on our family trip to Hawaii in celebration of my parents 50th wedding anniversary.
